The first 2022 France 2 euro commemorative coin was issued today.
The theme of the first national 2 euro commemorative coin is "20 years of the introduction of euro cash - Jacques Chirac".
The image side shows Jaques Chirac's side profile and the Euro symbol in the background. On the right hand side the monogram "RF" of the French Republic, the year 2022 as well as the mintmarks of the French mint and the general engraver. At the bottom of the picture the issue reason "JAQUES CHIRAC" and the biographical data "1932 - 2019". The twelve stars of the European flag are depicted on the outer ring of the coin.
